Designation : Technician - Condition Monitoring
Salary Upto : 3,500 to 4,000/- QAR
Qualification : Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to Kahramaa. Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level. More than 08 years of experience with a minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in condition monitoring, of primary substations (switchgears, power transformers & reactors, etc.) in major utilities/ organizations at voltage levels of 400kV, 220kV, 132kV, 66kV, 33kV and 11kV. Good knowledge in condition monitoring techniques of transmission primary substations. Certification courses if any for non-destructive testing (NDT), IR Thermography, Partial Discharge measurement, oil analysis. Known knowledge of working in networking, interfaces between online condition monitoring equipments, smart devices preferred. Knowledge of Safety Rules in Energy (Power & Utilities) sector. Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools.

Job Description :
Receives safety documents as per Kahramaa safety rules before start of job
Uses and operates online and offline condition monitoring equipment/ instruments
including but not limited to partial discharge analysis, IR thermography, oil analysis,
Carries out all work in accordance with Kahramaa procedure and work instructions
Completes work on time and ensures proper use of tools/ devices and consumable
Reports any abnormalities found on substation equipment and in the transmission
primary substation premises, to his superior
Maintains accurate record of equipment condition and related history Performs
emergency response activities as required
Assists the Supervisor and hands over all data and reports for preparation of condition
monitoring monthly reports
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
Uses and maintains tools and equipment
Performs general housekeeping functions, as necessary
Shall have necessary arrangements to go to sites as required
Carries out and ensures compliance of all activities within the Condition Monitoring
Section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Good technical knowledge.
Fluent in English and ability to communicate with superiors.
Computer Literacy as Advanced Excel Users for large data management.
Requires extensive traveling between venues/depots during normal and or outside
Requires mobile communication while on duty outside the office.
Requires mobile communication outside normal office hours for emergency purposes.
Trouble shooting of condition monitoring equipment (Online & Off line)
Attend Trainings / Seminars
Attend emergencies / fault conditions
Use of ERP JDE 9.1 & other online business tools
