Job Description :

  • Technology development for API synthesis, based on own RnD center in Hyderabad
  • CMO of developed technologies and marketing of own APIs
  • Distribution of APIs and intermediates outside India

Company is actively developing in all business lines by (i) developing new APIs; (ii) commercializing them at CMO and further marketing; (iii) entering new markets across the Globe with own APIs and distribution of APIs from our existing and new partners.

 

We are looking for a strong candidates for the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Head of Operations for the Indian HQ with primary focus on Operational Efficiency and Execution, with vast experience in mentioned activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Day-to-Day Operations: Managing the daily operations of the company, including logistics, supply chain, production, CMO arrangements and execution, and distribution.

 

Process Optimization: Ensuring that all operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This includes building and updating SOPs as per current situations, analyzing each and every process of each department in terms of room for optimization, reporting systems.

 

Financial Management: Overseeing the accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions to ensure profitability and financial health, close work with CA.

 

Human Resources: Managing human resources, including hiring, training, employee development, and ensuring a productive work environment, building new teams if required. As we are also planning to enter new markets, HR & experts consultations at new markets (international) might be in place.

 

API Technology development: managing a team of RnD, who is responsible for technology development activities, by setting up a project schedule for each molecule, tracking in-tine processes, arranging technology transfer to chosen CMOs and commercializing the product within projected costings.

 

Legal Management: arranging and following different types of agreements and contracts, from Employee agreements or Office rent agreement to CMO agreements or CPA agreements, controlling execution of all documents, and in-time updates of them if required.

 

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring the company complies with all legal regulations and managing risks associated with operations. This required deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry’s requirements and regulations and capability to understand other markets regulations as well.

 

Strategic Alignment with Business development department which focuses on long-term growth strategies, while the COO ensures that the operational capabilities are in place to support those strategies and work closely to ensure that new business opportunities can be operationalized effectively.

 

GENERAL SKILLS OF CANDIDATE:

 

Perfect candidate should have experience in all mentioned above points, be very active and able to control all processes and departments at the same time, be responsible for the work of every dept and team member under him/her, be able to warn the problems even before it arises or quickly resolve it.

 

Very important aspect is close cooperation with Business Development department in order to provide strong support in all processes, required for BD to build up positive reputation at new markets and with new clients, as well as sustain the reputation of reliable partner at existing markets and with existing clients.

 

Company is intending to develop very quickly and actively in different business lines, so candidate should be able to response positively to new challenges and opportunities.

 

Reporting will be done directly to MD, and constant cooperation with MD and BD will be in place, besides general activities. Person should be able to take most of operational decisions on his own.
