Job Description :
An experienced and safety–conscious Rope Access L1 Technician (Blaster and Painter) who will be
responsible for preparing surfaces and applying coatings to various structures, equipment, and
materials in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your technical expertise and
knowledge of relevant processes will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects in
the petrochemical, refining, and oil/gas exploration and production industries.
Surface Preparation and Coating Application: Utilize your technical and practical knowledge to
prepare surfaces for painting or coating, including cleaning, abrasive blasting, and removing rust,
dirt, grease, and old paint. Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray
equipment, or other appropriate techniques.
➢ Safety Compliance and PPE: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of personnel safety and the
proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment. Always
adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
➢ Process Safety: Display a foundational understanding of process safety principles to ensure
compliance and minimize risks during blasting and painting operations.
➢ To carry out specified range of rope access tasks under the supervision of IRATA level 3 team
leader.
➢ Provide support to the IRATA level 2 technicians to make team effort and carry out work in a safe
and efficient manner
➢ Maintain assigned company equipment and facilities in neat and workable condition.
